The Fishing Kids Jamboree is sustained solely through the generous donations we receive. There are several ways you can help us continue this growing tradition.

Sponsorship
Anyone can be a sponsor! Monetary donations are always appreciated and any amount is acceptable. 100% of the proceeds received are used for food, trophies and door prizes for this year’s Fishing Kid’s Jamboree.

Businesses interested in sponsorship can participate at the suggested giving levels of Bronze ($50), Silver ($100) and Gold ($150). All of our sponsors will be featured on our website, with a link to their homepage when possible. Please feel free to provide advertising or promotional materials, which will be made available at our sponsors’ table or included in gift bags. If you’d like to provide a banner displaying your company’s name or logo, it will be featured prominently throughout the day and used in future Fishing Kids Jamboree events.

Prize Donation
We gladly accept donations of new, store-bought items to use for door prizes and gift bags. Previously donated items include everything from fishing poles and lures to boys’ and girls’ bicycles. The more donations we receive, the more prizes we have to give away. We always try to make sure that every participating child leaves with something!

If you are the proprietor of a local business, we will gladly accept donations such as coupons and complimentary services. The ideal donation you could make would be branded items for giveaway, such as hats, shirts or pens featuring your company logo. It’s a great way to advertise your business, and your contribution allows us even more items to give away.

Picnic Donation
Any finger-foods you can bring the day of the event are also appreciated. Bring one of your special recipes or family favorites to share with everyone! Just be sure that whatever you bring can be served and eaten without utensils.

Desserts are one item we can never get enough of!

Money Through Recycling
As part of our fundraising efforts, we participate in a recycling program, called The Recycling Guy. You can help by donating older electronic components from around your home or office, such as cell phones, monitors and laptops. You’ll be helping the environment and raising money for a great local cause at the same time. All shipping is free of charge. Check www.therecyclingguy.com for a complete list of accepted recyclables. You can click here to start recycling right away, or bring your acceptable electronic items to the event for an on-site donation.

Used ink cartridges can also be recycled. If you have any used ink cartridges, bring them to the Fishing Kids Jamboree and drop them in our designated recycling box. If you’d prefer to schedule a pick-up, contact me and I’ll stop by to get them. Every recycled cartridge will earn money, and 100% of the proceeds will go toward the event!

Donate at the Pump
At participating BP gas stations, you can earn Milwaukee Brewers tickets by making six purchases of eight or more gallons of gas.  These tickets make an incredible prize for a lucky child and their family at the Fishing Kids Jamboree!

Just ask the cashier at a BP gas station for a “C’mon Back Card.” Each time you purchase gas, the cashier will stamp your card and initial your receipt. Once complete, submit your card and the six corresponding purchase receipts to me and I will collect the tickets to give away at the event. Please get the completed cards and receipts to me at least one week prior to the Fishing Kids Jamboree.

Cash Donations at the Event
A donation jar will be available at the event to help cover final costs and thank you letters sent to our sponsors. As with all other donations, 100% of the money collected will go toward costs associated with this year’s event. Any amount is acceptable and appreciated.
